Terms of Service
The terms for using Curora.
Last updated: 3 October 2026
1. About these terms
Curora (the web platform at curora.co.uk and the Curora mobile app) is provided by ALGO IT SOLUTIONS LIMITED (“we”, “us”). These terms apply to the organisation that signs up for Curora (“the customer”) and to everyone who uses an account the customer provides. By creating an account or using Curora you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
2. The service
Curora lets care organisations build, schedule, complete, review and export compliance audits across their homes and branches. We may improve or change features over time; we will not remove a core feature you rely on without telling you first.
3. Accounts
The customer’s administrator creates accounts for its managers and staff and decides what each person can see and do. Keep your login details private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. The customer is responsible for activity under its accounts.
4. Plans and payment
Every organisation that signs up gets the Free plan at no cost: 1 branch, 5 questionnaires, 5 active audit schedules and 2 users (see Plans). We may change what the Free plan includes, and will tell you by email before a change that affects you.
Larger plans are arranged directly with us — contact support@curora.co.uk. They are billed as agreed in writing, with applicable taxes added where the law requires; we do not store card details. If a payment fails, we will let you know and may suspend access until it is resolved. We give at least 30 days’ notice by email before changing the price of an existing paid plan.
5. Cancellation
Free plan. The Free plan costs nothing and has no contract. You can stop using it at any time, and an organisation administrator can delete the organisation and its data from Settings → Profile → Delete account.
Paid plans. Larger plans are arranged directly with us. To cancel one, the organisation administrator emails support@curora.co.uk from their registered email address. We confirm every cancellation by email.
When it takes effect. Unless we agreed otherwise in writing, cancellation stops the plan from renewing. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further payments are taken after that.
Your data after cancellation. Before your access ends you can download your audits (for example as PDF). After that we delete or return your organisation’s data within a reasonable period, as described in our Privacy Policy, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Cancellation by us. We may suspend or end a plan if payment fails and is not resolved, or if these terms are seriously breached. Where we end a paid plan without such a reason, we refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
6. Refunds
The Free plan is never charged, so refunds only apply to paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance, as agreed in writing. Payments for a period that has started are generally non-refundable, and we do not give refunds for partly used periods or for unused accounts.
When we always refund in full:
- you were charged by mistake, charged twice, or charged after a cancellation that had taken effect;
- we could not provide the service for reasons within our control and could not fix it within a reasonable time.
How to request a refund. Email support@curora.co.uk within 30 days of the payment, with your organisation name and the date and amount of the charge. We acknowledge requests within 2 working days and give a decision within 7 working days. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within 5–7 working days of approval; your bank may take a few more days to show it.
Nothing in this policy affects any rights you have under the consumer or other laws that apply to you.
7. Your data
The customer owns the audits and other content it puts into Curora. We process that data only to provide the service, as set out in our Privacy Policy. You can export your audits at any time while your account is active.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Curora to break the law, upload harmful code, try to access other organisations’ data, overload or attack the service, or resell it without our permission. We may suspend accounts that do.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep Curora available and secure and back it up daily, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance. Support is available by email at support@curora.co.uk; see our Support page.
10. Liability
Curora is a tool to help organisations run and record audits; the customer remains responsible for its own regulatory compliance and care decisions. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees the customer paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the “last updated” date above and email customers about significant changes before they take effect.
